Crownsville Hospital:  From Lunacy to Legacy

A feature-length documentary film highlighting the history of the Crownsville State Mental Hospital in Crownsville, MD. Exterior present-day footage will be juxtaposed with interior present-day footage, archival stills of the exterior/interior, present-day stills of the exterior/interior and interviews with historians and former workers to tell the story. The film will contain narration and music and take its inspiration from the 1955 Alain Resnais film, “Night and Fog.”
